The corner shop classic, in a can
Remember standing at the corner shop fridge, coins in hand, taking far longer than the decision deserved? SNU Cherry Cola 12mg is for whoever always came out with the cherry one. It's spiced cola with sweet cherry on top, in a slim pouch, and it sits second on SNU's four step Cherry Cola ladder. The can is white with a coloured band, and it spells the brand SNÜ with two dots on top. Same brand, fancier hat. Fridge door closed, decision made.
What it tastes like
Tastes like the cherry cola you'd get in a paper cup at the cinema, somewhere around the trailers. The cola comes first and brings a bit of spice with it. Then the sweet cherry arrives and rounds the edges off, which is how the brand describes it too, smooth and rounded. There's a patch at the top of the lid that says "Rub here to smell the flavour", and yes, it does what it says. It's cola and cherry the whole way through, with neither one wandering off. A proper soft drink flavour, minus the straw.
How strong it is
There's 12mg in every pouch, and the lid says so in a little tab next to the name, 12MG PER POUCH. On the shop's scale that's the medium band, which runs from 8mg up to 16mg, and 12mg lands bang in the middle of it. SNU does Cherry Cola in four steps on this shelf. The 9mg can sits below this one and is medium as well. Above it, 18mg crosses into the strong band and 45mg sits way up in extreme. So this is the second rung, and the middle of medium.
