The blue can, at full strength
Every White Fox mint traces back to the plain blue can, and this is that can at 12mg a pouch. The maker calls it White Fox Mint, the lid prints no flavour name at all, and Original is the name it goes by on our shelf. White Fox is made in Sweden by the company formerly called GN Tobacco, which says its factory is in Enköping, and the lid carries the white geometric fox head and the words Made in Sweden. Side by side with Original 1 Paw at 6mg, this is the same flavour with twice the strength. The one people come back for when they want the brand's mint without anything added.
What it tastes like
Fresh mint with spearmint, on the cool side. The mint sets the tone, clean and bright, and the spearmint adds the sweeter, rounder note that keeps it from being all edge. There's a cool finish to it, though without the menthol that Double Mint brings. No pepper, no fruit, nothing to compete with the mint. The maker says the pouches are flavoured with essential oils. It's the plainest flavour in the range and the one every other White Fox builds on.
