Mint, then more mint
Double Mint is the White Fox can for people who think one mint is a good start. It's mint and menthol together, the cooler of the brand's two plain mints, in a dark green can with the white fox head on the lid. White Fox is made in Sweden by the company formerly called GN Tobacco, which says its factory is in Enköping, and the lid says Made in Sweden so you don't have to take anyone's word for it. On our shelf this one comes at 8mg a pouch, the gentler of our two Double Mints, with the 12mg can beside it. Twenty pouches to a can. Green lid, two mints, one easy choice.
What it tastes like
Tastes like the mint you get when someone opens a fresh packet on a winter walk. The mint arrives first, clean and sweet, and the menthol follows straight behind it with a cool edge that stays for the whole pouch. The two run together rather than taking turns, which is why it reads as one big mint rather than two small ones. There's no fruit, no pepper and nothing sweet beyond the mint itself. The maker says the pouches are flavoured with essential oils, and this is a can where that shows. Cool, clean and very green.
How strong it is
