Grape, further up the scale
Grape is one of those flavours people tend to find once and then keep ordering. VELO gives it a can of its own, with one fruit on the lid and nothing else beside it. Velo Purple Grape 14mg is that grape at the higher of the two medium figures we stock. The brand began in Sweden and is made by BAT. Every pouch is tobacco free. If grape is already your flavour and you want it higher up the scale, start here.
What it tastes like
The flavour is grape, and the can doesn't dress it up as anything else. It's a single fruit flavour, so the grape has the lid and the pouch to itself. That makes it one of the most direct fruit cans on our VELO shelf, easy to describe and easy to recognise. Side by side with the Ice cans, which add a fresh mint twinge to their fruit, Purple Grape keeps to the one fruit on its lid. Velo Shift Hot Grape 8mg takes the same fruit in a warm direction, if you're curious. Here the grape stays just as the name has it.
How strong it is
Each pouch holds 14mg. On our strength scale that's the medium band, which runs from 8mg up to 16mg, and this can sits near the top of it. Strong begins at 16mg. The same flavour is on the shelf as Velo Purple Grape 8mg, which sits on the first step of medium. So the two cans mark out either end of the band, with the same grape in both. This is the upper one.

Who it is for
Purple Grape at 14mg suits you if you use snus regularly and the medium band is where you're settled. It's the natural next can for anyone who enjoys the 8mg and wants the same grape at a higher figure. It also suits people who like fruit flavours that keep to one fruit. If you'd rather stay at the first step of medium, the 8mg can is the one to choose.
Every pouch is tobacco free. If you only try one VELO fruit can near the top of medium, grape is a straightforward place to begin. Pick up a single can and see how it sits with you. Grape, 14mg a pouch, nothing else to remember.
