Maggie Summer Fruits 60mg is a sweet, jammy mix of summer berries with no cooling, at 60mg a pouch. That is the extreme band on our scale, in a slim white pouch with 20 to the can. It suits people who already use pouches at the very top of the scale and like mixed berry flavours.

Mixed berries in the yellow can

Summer Fruits is the mixed berry can in the Maggie range, the yellow can with the green palm tree on the lid whose flavours are all named after Caribbean drinks and food. Maggie comes in two lines: Maggie Lite on the 16 cans and plain Maggie, also sold as Maggie Original, on the 60 cans. This is the 60, which on our shelf means 60mg a pouch, and the lid carries the Maggie name on its own with no Lite tab. Slim white pouches, 20 to the can, tobacco free. A bowl of summer berries, in other words, at the very top of the scale.

What it tastes like

Tastes like the fruit bowl in July, the one that is all berries and gone by teatime. The flavour is mixed summer berries, sweet and rounded and jammy, with no single berry hogging the front and no cooling note underneath. It is the sort of fruit flavour that stays warm and full from the first pouch to the last. Where Mr Blue is the Maggie with blueberry clearly in charge, Summer Fruits is the one where the berries share the stage. If mixed berry flavours are your thing, this is the Maggie that does exactly that and nothing else.

How strong it is

Each pouch carries 60mg, which lands in the extreme band on our scale, 25mg and over, and a very long way above that line. Maggie makes every flavour at two strengths and this is the higher one; Summer Fruits also exists at 16mg in the Maggie Lite line for anyone who wants the berries at a medium figure. The pouch is slim and white, 20 to a can. The number is the thing to take seriously: 60mg makes this one of the strongest cans on our shelf, so it belongs with people who already use pouches at the extreme end and are comfortable there.

Who it is for

Maggie Summer Fruits 60mg suits people who already use pouches at the extreme end of our scale and want a sweet, mixed berry flavour there. It suits Maggie Lite Summer Fruits users who want the same berries with far more behind them, and anyone at the top of the scale who wants fruit rather than mint.

Every can holds 20 slim white pouches, and the lid reads MAGGIE over ORIGINAL JAMAICAN POUCH with a green palm tree. If the flavour appeals and 60mg does not, Maggie Summer Fruits 16mg in the Lite line is the gentler can. If you are already at the top, this one.
