Fresh Citrus, the second rung of Hype+
Hype+ builds its shelf as a ladder of four strengths, 12, 16, 20 and 24mg a pouch, and Fresh Citrus is the second rung at 16mg. What it tastes like
Citrus, fresh, as the name says. There is no single fruit named on the can, so the flavour is the bright, zesty side of citrus as a family rather than one orange or one lemon. There is no mint behind it, so the freshness comes from the fruit and not from ice. It holds from the first pouch to the last, as a good citrus should. In snus terms it is the fresh flavour that is not a mint, which makes it the odd one out on the Hype+ shelf in the best way. The one people come back for when mint has had its turn.
How strong it is
Each pouch carries 16mg, and on our scale that is the line between medium, which runs 8 to 16mg, and strong, which runs 16 to 25mg. Fresh Citrus sits on that line at the bottom of strong.
