A classic mint at 9mg
What do people most want to know about this can? Usually two things, the flavor and the number. The flavor is spearmint, sweet and fresh with a cool edge, and the number is 9mg of nicotine in each pouch. Nordic Spirit is a JTI brand that was created in Sweden, and the pouches contain no tobacco. On the can itself you'll read Spearmint Strong. Strong is the maker's name for 9mg, so it's the same product you're looking at here.
How it tastes
The maker describes this flavor as crisp freshness balanced with fresh, sweet spearmint. Spearmint is the main note. The cool side stays level with it and never runs ahead. What to know about the pouch itself is that it comes from the Dry range. Nordic Spirit divides its cans into Dry and Moist, and the maker describes Dry as a drier feel. The pack is marked Dry so the range is easy to identify.
Strength, step by step
Here's how it works. There's 9mg of nicotine per pouch, which places this can in the medium band on our strength scale. That band runs from 8mg up to 16mg. Nordic Spirit is on our shelf at 6mg, 9mg and 11mg, so 9mg is the center step. You'll also see dots on the lid, which show strength alongside the mg number. For the same flavor one step lower, Spearmint is available at 6mg.

Who it's for
Spearmint 9mg suits adults who use nicotine pouches regularly and like a traditional mint in the medium band. If the 6mg Spearmint is already your can, this is the same flavor at the next number up. If you use the brand's 9mg Mint, this gives you a sweeter mint at a strength you know. For anyone newer to pouches, the 6mg can is a good place to start.
Each can contains 20 slim pouches. The lid includes a compartment for used pouches. A single can is the simplest way to find out if spearmint is your mint. Add one to your order and see.
