The easygoing mint
Think of the little mint that comes with the check at a diner, the one you actually look forward to. ALP Sweet Mint 12mg lives in that neighborhood. It's a clean mint flavor with a mild sweetness, in a pouch with 12mg of nicotine. ALP is an American brand that started out in 2024, and Sweet Mint is a flavor it added for its UK and European range. Each tin holds 20 pouches, and every one is tobacco free. Easy flavor, middle strength.
How it tastes
Here's the fun part. The mint shows up first, clean and fresh, and then a mild sweetness rounds it out. ALP says that sweetness softens the sharpness of classic mint, and calls Sweet Mint the gentlest of the five mints in this range. Think mint iced tea with one sugar packet stirred in. It's a mellow, friendly flavor that leans on taste more than chill. ALP also describes its pouches as moist.
The strength, by the numbers
There's 12mg of nicotine in each pouch, and ALP labels by the pouch, so that number is per piece. On our strength scale that falls in the medium band, which covers 8mg up to 16mg. This range comes in three strengths, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg, and this can is the one in between. So it's medium on our scale and the midpoint of ALP's own three steps. Nice and tidy. No guesswork at the shelf.
