The White Fox guideWhite Fox: what to know before you pick a can
The short answer on White Fox is that it's a mint brand with one exception. Original is fresh mint with spearmint. Double Mint is mint with menthol, and it's the cooler of the two. Peppered Mint pairs peppermint with black pepper. Black Edition is the exception, with a dark, tobacco style flavor and a note of rose. All four are tobacco free nicotine pouches in a slim format, and all four are made in Sweden.
Strength is the other half of the decision. The cans on our shelf have 4mg, 8mg, 16mg or 17mg of nicotine in each pouch, and those numbers land in three different bands on our strength scale. This guide covers the lighter cans first and the stronger cans second. After that it explains who makes the brand, how our scale works, what comes in the can and how to choose a flavor. Find your strength, then find your mint.
01Who makes White Fox
White Fox is made in Sweden by Swedish Smokeless, a company formerly called GN Tobacco. Both names are in use, so you may see either one on a listing. They refer to the same maker. The maker says its factory is in Enköping, Sweden, and each lid carries the words Made in Sweden.
White Fox is one of the nicotine pouch brands the company lists as its own. The maker describes White Fox as tobacco free nicotine pouches, made without tobacco leaf or stem. What to know as a shopper is simple. The name on older listings and the name on newer ones lead back to one company and one country.
02How our strength scale reads White Fox
Our scale goes by the nicotine in a single pouch. Light is under 8mg. Medium is 8mg up to 16mg. Strong is 16mg up to 25mg. Extreme is 25mg and over. The number in each White Fox product title is the amount in each pouch, so you can place any can on the scale right away.
Here's how it works out. The 4mg cans are light. The 8mg cans are medium, at the very bottom of that band. The 16mg mints are strong, at the very bottom of that band too, and Black Edition is one milligram above them. Notice the pattern. From 4mg to 8mg the number doubles and the band changes. From 8mg to 16mg it doubles again and the band changes again. So with White Fox, a different number in the title usually means a different band. Check the number before the flavor.
03What comes in the can
Every White Fox can we carry holds slim pouches. Original, Double Mint and Peppered Mint come 20 pouches to a can at every strength, with a pack weight of 15g. For Black Edition, use the count printed on the can. The maker describes all of them as tobacco free.
The cans are easy to tell apart by color. Blue is Original. Dark green is Double Mint. Bright green is Peppered Mint. Black is Black Edition. Every lid has a geometric fox head drawn in white, along with the White Fox name. One detail saves confusion. The blue lid doesn't print a flavor name, and the maker calls that can White Fox Mint. We list it as Original. If the can in your order is blue and says only White Fox, you have the right one.
04How to choose a White Fox flavor
The short answer is to settle strength first and flavor second. After that, three of your four options are mints, and each one has a clear character. Original is the fresh one, mint with spearmint. Double Mint is the cool one, mint with menthol. Peppered Mint is the spicy one, peppermint with black pepper.
Black Edition is for a different taste altogether. Its flavor is dark and tobacco style with a note of rose, and it comes with 17mg in each pouch. It's the pick for adults who use strong pouches and want something other than mint. Not sure where to land? Think about the mint you already buy. If it's a clean, classic mint, go with Original. If it's the coolest mint on the rack, go with Double Mint. If you like trying something with a twist, Peppered Mint is the can to open.
