SNU's newest flavour, at 12mg
Which flavour does SNU put at the front of its own shop? At the moment it's Fizzy Energy, the newest listing in the brand's range. It's an energy drink flavour, and that's a description of the taste and nothing more. SNU makes it at four strengths on this shelf, and 12mg is the second of them. The brand is tobacco free and made in the EU, and the can spells its name SNÜ. This one is white with a blue band and red lettering.
What it tastes like
Think of a classic energy drink and you have the flavour. The brand describes it as sharp, sweet and instantly recognisable, tangy and bright with a sparkling edge. In the pouch that means a sweet, tangy taste with a fizzy character running through it. It sits closer to the soft drink shelf than the fruit bowl. The lid has a scented patch at the top, printed with "Rub here to smell the flavour", so you can check it before you open the can. The flavour is identical at all four strengths.
How strong it is
Each pouch holds 12mg. On the shop's strength scale the medium band runs from 8mg up to 16mg, so this can sits in the middle of it. The lid states the figure plainly, 12MG PER POUCH, in a tab beside the name. One step below is Fizzy Energy at 9mg, also in the medium band. Above it, the 18mg can falls in the strong band and the 45mg can in the extreme band. Side by side, 12mg is the higher of the two medium cans.

Who it is for
This can suits anyone who uses snus regularly and is settled in the medium band. It's a good match if you like soft drink flavours such as cola and want something in the same family. If you've been using Fizzy Energy at 9mg and want the next number, this is that step. If 12mg is more than you want, the 9mg can keeps the same flavour.
Each can holds 20 slim pouches. One can is enough to get the measure of a new flavour. Sharp, sweet energy drink flavour at 12mg a pouch. If you only try one of SNU's newer cans, start here.
