The can that goes psst
Psst. That little noise a fizzy can makes on opening is the whole mood of this flavour. SNU Fizzy Energy 18mg is the brand's newest flavour, an energy drink taste in a slim pouch, and this is the third of its four strengths. Worth saying plainly, the name is about how it tastes. The can is white with a blue band and red lettering, and it spells the brand SNÜ. Ring pull not included.
What it tastes like
Tastes like the first sip from a can out of the vending machine at the leisure centre. It's sharp and sweet at once, tangy and bright, with what the brand calls a sparkling edge. SNU also says it's instantly recognisable, and anyone who's met a classic energy drink will know the flavour on sight. The fizzy character stays with it all the way along. Up at the top of the lid there's a patch that reads "Rub here to smell the flavour", which is a cheerful way to say hello to a can. Sweet, tangy and fizzy, in that order.
How strong it is
Each pouch holds 18mg, and the lid tells you so with 18MG PER POUCH and a row of six filled dots. On the shop's scale that's the strong band, which runs from 16mg up to 25mg. So this can has stepped over the line from medium, though only by a little. Fizzy Energy comes in four strengths on this shelf. The 9mg and 12mg cans sit below in the medium band, and the 45mg can sits far above in extreme. Third rung of four, first rung of strong.

Who it is for
Fizzy Energy 18mg suits you if you use snus every day and the strong band is already home turf. It's one for the fizzy drink crowd, the people who head straight for the pop aisle. Been on the 12mg can and want a bigger number? Here it is, same flavour and all. Fancy something lower? The 12mg and 9mg cans taste exactly the same.
There are 20 slim pouches to a can, and the lot are tobacco free and made in the EU. One can will tell you everything you need to know. Energy drink flavour, 18mg a pouch, strong band. Go on, crack one open.
