Pineapple and mango, named plainly
What is actually in a can called Tropical Mix? Here the answer is short, pineapple and mango. Nordic Spirit is a JTI brand, created in Sweden and launched in the UK in 2019, and Tropical Mix was announced for the UK in May 2025. It belongs to the brand's Moist range. The maker sells this can as Tropical Mix Regular, so that is the name on the can you receive. Two fruits, one strength on this shelf, and no decisions beyond that.
What it tastes like
The flavour is a blend of ripe pineapple and mango. The maker describes the result as sweetness and freshness together, and names no fruit beyond those two. Side by side with Raspberry and Forest Berries, it is the tropical member of the brand's fruit cans. As a Moist can it has, in the maker's words, increased moisture for a softer feel. The pack is labelled Moist, so the range is easy to check.
How strong it is
Each pouch holds 6mg, which the shop's strength scale places in the light band, below 8mg. Nordic Spirit is stocked here at 6mg, 9mg and 11mg, and this can sits on the first of those steps. Tropical Mix is stocked at 6mg only, so there is one can to choose within the flavour. Regular, the word on the can, is the maker's name for its 6mg strength. It describes strength, and the pouch itself is slim. The lid shows strength as dots beside the mg figure.

Who it is for
Tropical Mix 6mg suits you if you want a fruit flavour and a figure in the light band. It is a comfortable first can for anyone new to snus. It suits regular users just as well, particularly those who keep a light can alongside their usual one. If pineapple and mango are flavours you already choose elsewhere, you will know this one at once.
Each can holds 20 slim pouches, all tobacco free, and the lid has a place for used pouches. The Moist cans are now a slimmer can, the maker says. One can will show you the flavour. If tropical fruit is your flavour, start here.
