The pink one on the black can
Remember the corner shop bubblegum that came wrapped with a tiny comic nobody ever read? Hype+ Bubblegum 80mg is that flavour, tucked into a slim caffeine pouch. The can is black, with pink and purple waves across the lid and BUBBLEGUM printed in pink under the HYPE+ name. Round the top it reads PREMIUM ENERGY PODS, which is what the can calls its pouches. So if a can of pods turns up at your door, that's the right one. Same thing, different word.
What it tastes like
Tastes like the classic pink bubblegum you'd know with your eyes shut. It's sweet, it's playful, and it stays bubblegum from the first moment to the last. Sweet, classic bubblegum is the whole description, and that's the lot. One flavour, doing one job, with a big grin on its face. It's the nostalgic sort of sweet, the kind that belongs with pocket money and paper bags. If bubblegum is your thing, this can keeps things beautifully simple.
How much caffeine is in a pouch
Every pouch holds 80mg of caffeine, and the lid says so right beside a little lightning bolt. On the shop's caffeine scale that puts it in the strong band, which runs from 80mg up to 120mg. Medium sits below, from 40mg up to 80mg, and extreme starts at 120mg. So this can stands on the first step of strong. Hype+ makes two caffeine cans, Bubblegum and Cappuccino, and both carry the same 80mg a pouch. These pouches contain caffeine, with no nicotine and no tobacco. One number to remember, then.

Who it is for
Bubblegum suits you if you already use caffeine pouches and have a sweet tooth that never grew up. It's a natural pick for anyone who heads to the sweet shelf first. Already comfortable with a can in the strong band? The number here will look familiar. If you'd like the same 80mg in a different flavour, Hype+ Cappuccino is the other can in the pair.
Each can holds 20 slim pouches, and a pouch sits under your lip. The maker says its pouches are made in Europe. Start with a single can and see how the bubblegum suits you. Sweet, classic, 80mg of caffeine a pouch. Pink name, black can, into the basket it goes.
