Most of the ALP range is mint. Five of the eight flavours are mint led, which leaves three fruit tins, and Tropical Fruit is one of them. ALP Tropical Fruit 12mg is that flavour at the middle strength. ALP is an American brand, in business since 2024 and sold in the UK since July 2026, and Tropical Fruit is one of the flavours it already had before it came here. Every tin holds 20 pouches, all tobacco free. If you only try one fruit from ALP, this is the broad, sunny one.
The flavour, plainly
ALP describes Tropical Fruit as a blend of exotic fruit flavours with a light sweetness. It does not name the fruits, and neither will this page. What you can expect is a mixed fruit character, not one single note, with the sweetness kept light. There is no mint in the description at all. Side by side with ALP's other two fruit tins, Cherries & Berries and Grape Ice, this is the blended one. ALP also describes its pouches as moist.
Where 12mg sits
Each pouch holds 12mg, stated per pouch as ALP does on every tin. On our strength scale that falls in the medium band, which runs from 8mg up to 16mg. ALP makes each flavour at 6mg, 12mg and 18mg, so this is the middle step of the three. The 6mg tin of Tropical Fruit sits in our light band and the 18mg tin in our strong band. Who it suits
