Not every mountain needs crampons. Some of them have a path, a bench halfway up and a nice cafe at the top. ALP Mountain Wintergreen 6mg is that sort of mountain. It's a wintergreen flavour, herbal and slightly sweet, at the lowest strength ALP makes. The brand comes from America, where it started in 2024, and it reached the UK in July 2026. Of ALP's five mint led flavours, this is the herbal one. Sensible shoes will do.
What it tastes like
Tastes like mint took a detour through the herb garden on the way to the tin. Wintergreen is the flavour here, and ALP describes it as herbal and slightly sweet. It's fresh, as you'd expect from the mint end of the shelf, with a green, herbal character all of its own. ALP says it tastes different from its other four mints, and that difference is the point. The brand also describes its pouches as moist. A mint with a hobby, basically.
How strong it is
Each pouch holds 6mg. ALP prints the nicotine in a single pouch on every tin, so the number does what it says. On the shop's strength scale that's the light band, which is everything under 8mg. ALP makes each flavour at 6mg, 12mg and 18mg, and this is the bottom step of the three. Base camp, if we're keeping the theme going.
