Frostbite. Sounds like something you'd pick up halfway up a mountain in the wrong socks. It is, in fact, a mint, and the name doesn't tell you that, so here it is in plain words. ALP Frostbite 12mg is a sharp mint with strong cooling, and ALP calls it the most intense mint in its range. It's also one of the four flavours added when the brand arrived in the UK in July 2026. What it tastes like
Tastes like the first breath outside on a bright winter morning, the sort that arrives before your scarf does. The mint is sharp, which is ALP's own word for it, and the cooling is strong. On the brand's ranking of its five mints, Frostbite sits at the very top of the cooling scale. Chilled Mint is the middle of that scale, and Sweet Mint and Spearmint are the lightest. So this is mint with the dial turned right up. No fruit, no sweetshop, just mint and plenty of cool.
How strong it is
Here's where the name and the number go separate ways. Frostbite tells you about the cooling, and the 12mg tells you about the strength. Each pouch holds 12mg, per pouch, which on the shop's scale is the medium band, from 8mg up to 16mg. ALP makes Frostbite at 6mg, 12mg and 18mg, so this is the middle tin. The 6mg sits in the light band and the 18mg in the strong band. Top of the cooling, middle of the strength.

Who it is for
Frostbite 12mg suits you if you use snus regularly and always go for the coolest mint on the shelf. It's a good match if medium strength tins are your normal and you want the most cooling ALP makes.
