Velo Shift Hot Grape 8mg leads with sweet grape and adds a warming sensation, at 8mg a pouch. Here's how it works: Shift is the VELO line with a rounded pouch and a hexagonal can, and 8mg opens the medium band. It suits grape fans looking for something a little different.

What Shift changes
What makes a Shift can different? The shape. Shift is a VELO line built around a rounded pouch, which the maker calls the Comfort format, and it comes in a hexagonal can. Velo Shift Hot Grape 8mg is the grape flavor in that line. Each pouch has 8mg of nicotine and is tobacco free. VELO is made by BAT. If you want to see what Shift is, grape is a good place to start.
How it tastes
What to know about the flavor is that it has two parts. The first is sweet grape, which leads from the start. The second is the Hot in the name, which VELO describes as a warming sensation balanced with the fruit. The grape stays at the center throughout. There is no mint in this can. Sweet grape, with that second part alongside, is the plain description.
Where 8mg sits
Here's how it works on our scale. Light is anything under 8mg, medium runs from 8mg up to 16mg, and strong begins at 16mg. At 8mg a pouch, Shift Hot Grape sits at the entry point of the medium band. All three Shift cans we carry share that figure. So does Velo Purple Grape 8mg, which is a slim pouch with a grape flavor of its own. The strength is consistent, so your choice comes down to flavor and format.

Who it is for
This can is a good fit for adults who use nicotine pouches regularly and like sweet fruit flavors. It suits people who already buy grape pouches and want to try a rounded pouch. It also suits anyone curious about the Hot cans who prefers a familiar fruit. Looking for grape at a lower strength? Velo Purple Grape 4mg sits in the light band.
Each can holds 20 pouches. A single can will show you how the Comfort format suits you. From there, Hot Peach and Hot Dragonfruit offer the same strength and shape with different fruit. For sweet grape in the Shift line, this is the can.
