Meet the dragon
Think of the fruit stand at a farmers market, and that one bright pink fruit everybody points at. That is dragon fruit, and Velo Shift Hot Dragonfruit 8mg puts it in a pouch. It comes with a hint of spices and 8mg of nicotine in each one. Shift is the VELO line with a rounded pouch, which the maker calls the Comfort format. The can is a hexagon, so it stands out in the cup holder. Fans of something different, you are in the right place.
How it tastes
Here's the fun part. Dragon fruit comes first, a little tart, and a hint of spices follows close behind. Think tropical fruit cup with a pinch from the spice rack. The Hot in the name refers to what VELO describes as a warming sensation, balanced with the fruit. So there are three things going on, and they share the stage nicely. Fruit, spice and warmth, in that order.
The strength, in plain numbers
There is 8mg of nicotine in each pouch. On our strength scale that is the very start of the medium band, which runs from 8mg up to 16mg. Anything under 8mg is light, so this can sits right on the line into medium. Every Shift can we carry has the same 8mg, including Hot Grape and Hot Peach. That keeps things simple when you want to switch flavors. Same number, different fruit.

Who it is for
Shift Hot Dragonfruit is a great fit for adults who use nicotine pouches regularly and like to try new flavors. It works well for anyone who enjoys tropical fruit with a warming side. It also suits folks looking for a medium can at the low end of the band. Want the same style with a more familiar fruit? Hot Peach and Hot Grape are right there on the shelf.
Each hexagonal can holds 20 rounded pouches, and they are tobacco free. VELO is made by BAT. Grab a single can and see what the dragon is about. Tart fruit, a hint of spices, good to go.
