Ripe mango with a warm finish
Think of a mango salsa that has a little heat tucked in the back. That's the idea behind VELO Mango Flame, part of the maker's Sensations series, where Flame means a warming sensation, Spark means tingling and Storm means cooling. VELO is the nicotine pouch brand from BAT, born in Sweden and produced in Europe. This can comes at 17mg a pouch, which lands it in the Full Strength tier of the VELO shelf here next to Orange Spark, Purple Grape and Icy Berries. Sweet fruit, a warm glow and the strongest VELO makes, all in one can.
How it tastes
Here's the fun part. The maker describes it as a heated mango flavor experience, ripe mango followed by an intense burning sensation, and that's the order you get it in. Mango leads, sweet and golden like the good ones at the farmers market, and then the warmth builds behind it and hangs around for the rest of the pouch. VELO credits that feel to ingredients it calls VELO Sensates. No mint, no second fruit, no cooling edge, which makes it the one VELO fruit can that runs warm.
How strong it is
Every pouch has 17mg of nicotine. That's the strong band on our scale, 16mg to 25mg, and 17mg is the top of VELO's UK range, which starts at 4mg. This is a can for adults who use nicotine pouches every day and already know they want a strong one. VELO measures strength as mg per pouch and prints a row of dots beside the number on the can. The pouches are tobacco free, and the maker lists the contents as water, plant based materials, flavorings, sweeteners and nicotine. Like the warmth but want less strength? Shift Hot Spearmint brings a heating sensation at 8mg. Good to go.

Who it is for
Mango Flame 17mg fits adults who use nicotine pouches every day, want fruit at the strongest VELO strength and like warmth instead of a cool finish. It's a natural pick for anyone who puts mango in everything, and for people who know Orange Spark at 17mg and want the warm take on that idea. It also suits VELO users who enjoy the Shift Hot cans and want that feel at full strength.
If you want 17mg fruit without a sensation, Icy Berries and Purple Grape sit right beside it. If you want the tingle instead of the warmth, Orange Spark is the one. For mango with a glow at 17mg, you are in the right place.
