Cold Dry, in the larger pouch
The short answer is that Cold Dry XL is the Greatest signature mint in a larger pouch at 16mg. The maker lists it as Cold Dry Intense XL and describes the format as Regular / XL, a bigger pouch than the brand's slim cans. Greatest is a Nordic brand from Finland, made by Premium Pouch Finland Oy, a Helsinki company, and its Cold Dry flavor is the one the maker calls the heart of the brand. Every pouch carries 16mg of nicotine, which puts it in the strong band on our scale, and a can holds 20 tobacco free pouches. A good place to start if you already know Cold Dry and want a fuller version.
How it tastes
Cold Dry is a cold, fresh mint and nothing more. No fruit, no candy sweetness, just a crisp, cool flavor that holds steady from the first pouch to the last. It opens cold and finishes clean. The maker names no particular type of mint, and the flavor reads simply as mint, kept cold. What to know is that the XL pouch carries the same Cold Dry you'll find across the Greatest lineup, in a larger format. If you liked the flavor in a slim can, this is the same idea with more room to work.
How strong it is
Here's how it works. Each pouch has 16mg of nicotine, which puts Cold Dry XL in the strong band on our strength scale, from 16mg up to 25mg. It sits at the entry point of that band, a clear step above the medium cans and well short of the top of the shelf. The pouch format is Regular / XL, which is larger than slim, and there are 20 in a can. All of the pouches are tobacco free. For adults who use nicotine pouches regularly and want more than medium, this is a measured move up.

Who it is for
Cold Dry XL is for adults who like a cold mint and want it in the strong band, in a larger pouch. It suits anyone who has used the lighter Cold Dry cans and is ready for a step up, and anyone who simply prefers a bigger pouch format.
If you'd rather stay in the medium band, Cold Dry 8mg is the same mint at a gentler strength, and Rage Lemonade is the brand's citrus can at 10mg. For the fullest Cold Dry on the shelf, start here.
