A lime with a plus one
Think of a lime wedge pressed into a glass of ice water, then picture something green and leafy sitting next to it. That is Après Cactus Lime, a lime flavored nicotine pouch with a cactus note riding along. Après is a Swedish brand from Stockholm, its pouches are tobacco free, and it numbers its cans, so this one shows N°9 on the lid. Each pouch carries 8.3mg of nicotine, the lower of the two Après strengths on our shelf. It is the citrus pick with a twist in the name. If you like lime, you are in the right place.
How it tastes
Here's the fun part. Lime leads from the first pouch and keeps leading, bright and sharp in the way only lime is. The cactus is the second note, and it stays second, a bit of company for the citrus rather than a flavor of its own. There is no mint in the can, so all the freshness comes from the fruit. Think of the lime on a taco stand counter, cut fresh, and you are close. The name sounds like a dare. The flavor is just a good lime.
How strong it is
Each pouch has 8.3mg of nicotine. On our scale that is the medium band, 8mg up to 16mg, and 8.3mg sits at the very start of it. Après organizes its lineup by strength, with lines the maker calls Normal, Extra Strong and Hypèr Strong, and 8.3mg per pouch is the Extra Strong figure. Après also makes Cactus Lime at 11mg, the Hypèr Strong number, for anyone who wants the same lime with more behind it. On our shelf the Après cans run 8.3mg to 11mg. In the maker's own words, the pouches contain nicotine but no tobacco. Good to go as a gentle medium.

Who it's for
Cactus Lime is for adults who like citrus flavors and want a medium strength pouch that starts low. If you are new to nicotine pouches, 8.3mg is a comfortable first number, and lime keeps things lively while you settle in. It also fits regular users who want a sharp daytime can alongside something sweeter. And it fits anyone who reads the name and has to know.
Want the same lime at a bigger number? Après Cactus Lime at 11mg is the step up. Want a sweeter citrus at the same 8.3mg? Tangerine Spritz is the one. Start with the N°9 and let the lime do the talking.
