A punnet in a pouch
There's a certain week every year when the fruit stall suddenly goes red and purple and everyone loses their head a bit. Maggie Summer Fruits 16mg is named for that week. It's a sweet mix of summer berries in a slim white pouch, and the name tells you nearly everything. The can is Maggie yellow with a red rim, a green palm tree and Original Jamaican Pouch across the lid. When it lands, the lid will say Maggie Lite, which is the name the brand gives this line. What it tastes like
Tastes like the bottom of the punnet, where the ripe ones have been quietly getting sweeter. The flavour is mixed berries, and it's the blend that does the talking, not any one fruit. Sweet leads, as you'd hope from something with summer in the name. It stays berry from the first moment to the last. Maggie names most of its cans after Caribbean drinks and food, and this is the fruit bowl of the family. If you've ever eaten the berries before they reached the pudding, you'll understand this can.
How strong it is
