Fizz not included
There's a particular joy in the first swig from a cold bottle of cola. CUBA Black Cola has gone after that flavour and left the bubbles behind. It's a cola flavour in a slim black pouch, from CUBA's Black line. Each pouch carries 43mg, which is deep in the extreme band on our scale. So you get a corner shop classic with a very grown up number. Bottle opener not needed.
What it tastes like
Tastes like cola, which is the whole brief, and it sticks to it. Picture the cola bottle sweets from the pick and mix, the ones that always go first. The flavour is that familiar fizzy drink taste, minus the fizzy. Think of the last sip from the glass, when the bubbles have gone home and the taste has stayed. There's no fruit in the pouch and no mint either. It's one flavour and it knows exactly what it is. Cola fans will clock it straight away.
How strong it is
Now the number, which is 43mg a pouch. That lands in the extreme band on our strength scale, which runs from 25mg upwards. Black is 43mg, sitting above standard CUBA Ninja at 15.6mg and CUBA White at 10.4mg. The highest figure in the range belongs to the Ninja line's 150mg cans. It's a line for people who are already used to the very strongest snus around. Black pouch, cola flavour, which feels like the right colour scheme. The number is big and the flavour is easygoing.

Who it is for
Cola suits you if the strongest snus is your daily and you fancy something from outside the fruit bowl. It's a good change of scene if your shelf is already full of berries and mint. It sits nicely beside either one if you like to mix things up. Want cola with a smaller number on it? CUBA White Cola is there at 10.4mg a pouch. Pick the rung that fits.
Every can holds 20 slim pouches, all tobacco free and made in Poland by Nikotabako. One can is the way to find out. Cola flavour, top strength, slim black pouch. Ice and a slice optional.
